Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in New York City wearing a pair of boots designed to look like cloven hooves, and many people who saw these boots did not think they were funny or fashionable. The Sex and the City star has received negative comments and dirty looks, all because of the boots split to resemble the hoof of an animal. Maybe some people just do not have a sense of humor, or a sense of style, but these boots were elegantly made and are very attractive. The cloven hoof aspect simply makes them more interesting in my opinion, because they are definitely unique.

Vintage boots can offer benefits that new boots just do not. Older boots may have been handcrafted or designed in a style that is not done today. Many older boots have materials that are no longer used in modern manufacturing, and they may be more luxorious if they were considered high end when sold. Some vintage boots may contain exotic furs that are considered endangered now, and leathers that can no longer be found. Just because boots are not new does not mean they should be overlooked or thrown away, because they may have a unique look and style that is fantastic.
