It is unknown whether a taste test was held in certain cities, or if financial compensation going either way is present, but MacDonalds has Given Mr. Pibb the boot in favor of Dr. Pepper. This causes the soft drink to grab a much bigger market share, because Mr. Pibb is owned by Coca Cola and Dr. Pepper is owned by the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. Most customers polled about this change did not seem to have a preference either way, so there is apparently no consumer brand loyalty where either of these soft drinks are concerned. How many MacDonalds customers will choose either?
