Open toed ankle boots have made many appearances on the catwalks and runways in the last year, and stars from Jessica Simpson to Angelina Jolie have been spotted wearing this footwear. The boot has an open toe which allows your toes to show through, making a good pedicure and polish job a must. This is not normally a requirement when wearing boots, but with these you do not want your toes to look in need of attention. These boots may not be as safe as the full cover version though, because the open toe increases the rik of toe and foot injury.
