In the mall the other day, I passed a girl my daughter’s age and she was wearing the shortest shorts possible, together with a pair of thigh high boots with a five inch stiletto heel. I was disturbed for a few reasons by this sight. First of all because if her shorts revealed any more flesh she could have been arrested for indecent exposure. The combination of extreme coverage boots and barely there shorts was a major fashion bumble. Shorts and boots can be worn together at times, but they have to be the right combination. Ankle boots work well with shorts, and so do hiking boots and athletic boots.
